Practical Mission Training
"I feel I'd like to share my faith, but I just don't
know how to get started."
All it needs is for someone to teach you some simple basics, and then
to show you how.
Don't keep your faith to yourself!
If your faith is real to you, then there's a good
chance it can be real to somebody else. All you need is a faith of your
own, and a bit of training in how to approach people in an easy, non-threatening
way. This sometimes leads to a conversation about God, and some people
take it seriously enough to do something about it.
We hope to run some training sessions here in Gloucester, if there is
sufficient demand.
On a larger scale, Through Faith Missions run Mission Training Schools
in different parts of the country. Check out their web site for missions
coming up. Last September 2011, there was a major mission to West
Dorset,
called "Walk West Dorset", where they had 250 volunteers to take a
week off and "go fishing".
Next year, 2012, there will be a smaller mission connected with the
Olympic Games in London -
